Special Committee of the Whole

THAT the agenda for the December 4, 2017 regular meeting of Committee of the Whole be adopted as circulated.

THAT Council receives this Department of Community Planning and Development report for information as it pertains to the request to designate 1141 Maple Street (The Quaker Meeting House) under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act; and THAT, Committee recommends that Council proceed with designating the property in accordance with Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act.

THAT, Committee receives this Community Planning and Development report for information as it pertains to Zoning By-law Amendment application AM-01-16 and Development Agreement application DA-03-17 regarding 1011 Clare Avenue and 703 Quaker Road; and THAT, Committee direct the Zoning By-law Amendments, attached hereto as Appendix 3 and 4, amending the zoning of the lands known municipally as 1011 Clare Avenue and 703 Quaker Road from the Residential 1 (R1) zone to Residential 2 (R2) and the Residential Multiple 1-281-Holding (RM1-281-H) zone be provided for Council approval; and THAT, Council approve the by-law authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to enter into a Development Agreement with Antonio and Rosetta Nuziato regarding 1011 Clare Avenue.

THAT Committee receives this report for information; and THAT staff forward a copy of this report to the Region of Niagara Planning and Development Services in response to the request for comments.
