Policy and Priorities

THAT the agenda for the May 22, 2018 regular meeting of the Policy and Priorities Committee be adopted as circulated.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Community Planning & Development Department Report for 1611 and 1613 Lookout Street (File No. DA-06- 17) be received; and THAT Committee recommend that Council approve the by-law authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to enter into a Development Agreement with Kaiser & Associates Inc. and Jasper Michael Pala regarding 1611 and 1613 Lookout Street.

THAT Committee recommend that Council approval the Health and Safety Policy Statement appended hereto; and THAT the previous Policy S101-01-2017 be Repealed and Replaced with the 2018 Statement.

THAT Committee recommend that Council adopt the Incident Investigation Policy Statement hereto attached; and THAT the old Health and Safety Policy #S101-04, Bill 168 Workplace Violence/Harassment, be repealed and replaced.

THAT Committee recommend that Council approve the Workplace Inspection Policy Statement appended hereto; and THAT the Old H & S Policy #9, Workplace Inspections, be repealed and replaced.

THAT Committee recommend that council approve the Hazard Identification and Control Policy Statement appended hereto; and THAT the former Health and Safety Policy #4 - Hazard Identification, be repealed and replaced.

THAT Committee recommend that Council approve the Individual Responsibilities and Duties Policy Statement appended hereto; and THAT the old Health and Safety Policy #2, Duties and Responsibilities, be repealed and replaced.

THAT Committee recommend that Council approve the Transitional Return to Work Policy appended hereto; and THAT the old Health and Safety Policy #5(P), Return to Work, be repealed and replaced.

THAT this Regular Meeting of Committee be adjourned until the next regular meeting scheduled for June 4, 2018 following Council.
