Special Meeting of Council

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the agenda for the December 18, 2017 Special Meeting of Council be adopted as circulated.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the next portion of the meeting be closed to the public in order to consider a matter under the Municipal Act, as follows: 1. Section 239(2)(e) - litigation or potential litigation and Section 239(2)(f) - advice subject to solicitor-client privilege - Files H04-2017-01 and L02-09-15-2006 2. Section 239(2)(c) - proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of property - Files L07-2017-06-S and L07-2017-05- S

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council adjourn the In Camera Session and that Council do now Rise With Report.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Chief Administrative Officer be and is hereby authorized to undertake the directions provided during the In Camera meeting of December 18, 2017.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council hereby authorizes the amendment to the Agreement of Purchase and Sale with Parkhill Properties Corporation, providing for an extension of the Due Diligence Provisions period to January 15, 2018 and a completion date for the transaction to be no later than May 31, 2018; and THAT the Mayor and Clerk be and are hereby authorized to sign the amending documents; and THAT the Town of Pelham provide a Letter of Support to the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation regarding the proposed development.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the following By-law be read a first, second and third time and passed: Being a By-law No. 3947(2017) to Adopt, Ratify and Confirm the proceedings of Council of the Town of Pelham at its Special Meeting held on the 18th day of December, 2017.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT this Special Meeting of Council be adjourned until the next regular meeting scheduled for this evening, December 18th, 2017 at 6:30 pm.
