Special Committee of the Whole

THAT the agenda be amended to add an item of correspondence received from residents of Pickwick Place regarding Street Lighting Standards, at Item 4.5.2.

THAT the agenda for the October 3rd, 2016 regular meeting of Committee of the whole be adopted, as amended.

THAT, Committee of the Whole receive this Department of Community Planning and Development report for information as it pertains to application File No. AM-11-14 and 26T19-02014 regarding Part of Twp. Lot 171 (Saffron Meadows); AND THAT, the Plan of Subdivision for Saffron Meadows be draft approved subject to the conditions in Appendix 2; AND THAT, the Mayor or designate be authorized to sign the draft plan as “approved” 20 days after notice of Council’s decision has been given as required by the Planning Act, provided no appeals of the decision have been lodged; AND THAT, draft approval be given for three years, after which approval will lapse unless an extension is requested by the developer and granted by Council; AND THAT, Committee direct Planning staff to prepare the by-law to amend the portion of the land located on the south side of Port Robinson Road, west of Rice Road (Regional Road 54), legally described as Part of Twp. Lot 171, from Agricultural (A) and a site specific Residential Multiple 1 (RM1-264) to a site specific Residential 2 (R2), four site specific Residential Multiple 1 (RM1), and several site specific Open Space (OS) zones for Council’s consideration; AND FURTHER THAT, Council approve the zoning by-law amendment.

THAT Committee of the Whole receive the September, 2016 Community Planning and Development Report for information.

THAT Committee of the Whole receive the September, 2016 Corporate Services Report for information.

THAT Committee of the Whole receive the September, 2016 Fire & By-Law Services Report for information.

THAT Committee of the Whole receive the September, 2016 Human Resources Report for information.

THAT Committee of the Whole receive the September, 2016 Public Works Report for information.

THAT Committee of the Whole recommend that the correspondence received from John and Wendy Abbott regarding the proposed street lighting on Pickwick Place be received and

THAT Committee of the Whole receive the September, 2016 Recreation, Culture & Wellness Report for information.

THAT Committee of the Whole receive the September, 2016 Clerk's Report for information.

THAT Committee of the Whole receive the September, 2016 Chief Administrative Officer Report for information.

THAT this Regular Meeting of Committee of the Whole be adjourned until the next regular meeting scheduled for Monday, October 17, 2016 following Council.
