Policy and Priorities

THAT the agenda be amended to move the following items for consideration at the beginning of the meeting (prior to any other reports): Item 4.5 - Active Transportation Master Plan Item 5.1 - 1155 and 1307 Rice Road Request to Redesignate.

THAT the agenda for the November 21, 2016 regular meeting of Policy & Priorities Committee be adopted as amended.

THAT Policy & Priorities Committee receive the Report, Active Transportation Master Plan, and THAT Committee recommend that Council approve the Active Transportation Master Plan and Implementation Strategy.

THAT the Rules of Procedure as contained in the Town of Pelham Procedural By-law, be suspended; AND THAT the specified meeting curfew time of 10:00 be and is hereby waived; AND THAT the remainder of the business under item 4.2 continue to be considered until the matter is concluded; AND THAT all reports on the agenda not considered at this meeting be considered at the December 5, 2016 Regular Meeting of Council.

THAT Committee request the Region to consider designating the lands as "Rural" as opposed to Good General Agricultural.

THAT staff be directed to remove the wording on the "alternatives" portion of the staff report.

THAT this Regular Meeting of Policy & Priorities Committee be adjourned until the next regular meeting scheduled for December 5, 2016 following Council.
