Policy and Priorities

THAT the agenda for the December 19, 2016 regular meeting of the Policy and Priorities Committee be adopted as circulated.

THAT the recommendation be replaced with the following: THAT Committee receive the Capital Budget Request - Tice Road Building Renovations Report; and THAT staff be directed to present a further report outlining the rationalization and including additional information as discussed, for consideration at the meeting scheduled for January 9th, 2017.

THAT Policy & Priorities Committee receive the report, Core Certification Policy; AND THAT Committee recommend that Council approve the Core Certification Policy.

THAT the recommendation be added by adding the following: THAT The Rules and Regulations for Fire Department Members Policy include the words "notwithstanding any applicable legislation" as it relates to work refusal.

THAT Policy and Priorities Committee receive the report, Rules and Regulations for Fire Department Members; AND THAT Committee recommend that Council approve the Rules and Regulations for Fire Department Members Policy, as amended to include the reference "notwithstanding any applicable legislation".

THAT the Municipal Grant Policy be amended to remove reference to Socan fees.

THAT the recommendation be further amended to provide that the discussion be

THAT Policy and Priorities Committee receive the proposed Municipal Grant Policy; and THAT the Policy be amended to remove reference to Socan fees; and THAT the discussion be

THAT Policy & Priorities Committee receive the November, 2016 Fire & By-law Services Report for information.

THAT this Regular Meeting of Committee be adjourned until the next regular meeting scheduled for January 19, 2017 following Council.
